Write YouTube scripts that survive the first 30 seconds.
A YouTube video lives or dies by retention. This script writer is built around the same hook + structure I use for my own channel — so people stay, learn, and subscribe instead of bouncing.
Great content with a weak hook = dead video.
YouTube doesn't reward smart. It rewards watched. You can have the best information in your niche, but if you open with "Hey guys, today we're going to talk about..." — the algorithm has already buried you.
I learned this the painful way. I shot 100+ videos in 2023, took a long break, and came back in April 2026 with one rule: every script earns its first 30 seconds. This generator bakes that rule in by default.
0:00–0:15
Pattern interrupt. Promise. Stakes. Tells the viewer exactly why they should NOT swipe away.
The Body
Clear sections, transitions that re-hook attention, and on-screen visuals planned in. No rambling.
The Close
One ask. Subscribe, comment, click — never all three. The script ends with a reason to keep watching the next one.
Works for both Shorts and long-form. The generator asks for your topic and format, then writes a script you can read straight into the camera.
Make the script actually sound like you.
- Pick the right format first. Shorts need one idea, one payoff, one cut. Long-form needs 3-5 chapters. Don't squeeze a Short script into a 10-min video.
- Read it out loud before shooting. If a line feels stiff in your mouth, it'll feel stiff on camera. Rewrite anything you stumble on.
- Add your own examples. The generator gives you the bones. Your stories, numbers, and screenshots are what make it land.
- Cut 20% before you record. Every time. Most scripts have one section that's just filler — be ruthless.
